I have one more thing to add to the top 5 list this is also something to remember before you purchase a computer.

Set out a budget plan. especially if you are going to be building your own computer. don’t over shoot you budget limit. Also make sure the computer that you intend on building or buying meets your criteria.

I actually buy a barebones kit or build-it-yourself package and construct and configure it. I don’t worry about sending a lot of money for the OS and apps because Ubuntu is worth the burn to the HDD…

Chris you forgot the number 1. bit of advice when buying a computer. Make sure it’s a pre-vista model that comes with XP LOL!

i saw a computer that was for sale nearly 1200 euros with a sign on top of it that said water cooled but it turned out to be air cooled and i was like what the ~love~
