Breaking The Cycle
I'm having some evil thoughts right now. I have a few more things to format on my desktop, but after that's done, I'm thinking of driving up the street to… Starbucks. Yeah. well – my Peet's is closed. I wanna get out of the house for a while. Figured I could do a little editing in a nicer atmosphere. Not to say that this loft isn't awesome, just that – I need to get out more often.

Isn't it strange that bad things only(or at least most of the time) happen when one's “better half” isn't around to comfort you.

Just keep a ” cool tool ” Chris. You have thousands if not millions of friends/fans to back you up in this war(for lack of a better term). I realize it's probably best to take the high road in situations like this but, sometimes you have to play dirty. Also I'm curious if you could get any of your co-workers at the studio to back you up in your blog? and theirs? I have never met the guy but I'm sure Leo would in a second.

Dear Richard,
The instant you lower yourself to the level of your enemies you become one of them. If Chris and Turbo just drop this then there doesn't have to be a war. War never solves anything
Sincerely,

bringing co-workers or anything like that into this would be a HORRIBLE idea. I REALLY think that would be a HUGE bad move! just my opinion

I usually don't comment on this type of stuff, I'm more of an observer. But what I have observed so far really made me want to throw in my two cents. Now I am a long time subscriber to the newsletter, and have watched Chris on Tech Tv. I think he is really smart and knows what he is talking about. As much as I hate to see people being rude to other people, I think that Chris needs to just shine it off and not let it get to him. I'm not on any one side here, I think some people could express their opinions in slightly more mature ways, and that Chris, when he encounters criticism like this, shouldn't retaliate in the same manner he was approached, but just let it go. People are going to try to get at you all through life, why let it stress you out? BTW – just curious as to what turbo does for a living…

I'm a computer consultant. Currently, most of my time is spent witting some accounting software for clients. But its not just accounting software that I write, I do it all from networking, PC repair and creating various computer based automation techniques for the office

that should be writing not witting – still trying to get used to this laptop! Pretty much, I'm an accountant that turned geek. Writing accounting software is my specialty

No, for some reason I hit the submit button on my browser, it said it didn't work, so I submitted the page again unknowing that it had been submitted a ton of times before, and what probably happened was the first time my browser was locked into some kinda loop or something and kept submitting the POST data, and then came back to me saying nothing was posted, and showed me a page without any of my posts.

a) Turbofish – you must be a really bad computer consultant if all you can find to do to fill your time is slag on Chris on his blog. Idiot.
b) Chris – no-fat Iced Tazo Chai. Have it once and you'll shudder everytime you see Peet's. It's not even coffee. But it's amazing.

I can't stand Starbucks so called Chai. The coffee shop I volunteer at has Big Train Chai and it is so much better than the Tazo stuff StarSucks serves.
