Breakfast Blend

Alarm. Coffee machine. Water. Peet's. Cream. No frickin' filters! We found our way to the Heartland Inn across town last night, as it's exponentially closer to my “live appearances” than Altoona was. While we're only staying here until Thursday morning, at least we'll have free Wi-Fi in our room. Again, this service comes courtesy of I-Spot. Since Gretchen took Lori's car to our old house to RoundUp some weeds, I've had to hire a chauffeur for the day. His name is Tom Pohl, and he brought with him paper cups and filters for the brew. Too bad the water's skunky! We're foregoing the downtown bank and bopping straight to Rock Bottom to meet Jason for lunch. I'm not sure what's on the slate for this afternoon, but I have a feeling it will be filled with much geeking. Tonight, I'm speaking at the local CompUSA to the Des Moines Mac User Group.

I only look up to you more than my father because you are my father. See you in a few days, Dad.
BTW, will you be doing the streaming audio thing again?

Geeking is good, however, I'm not good at it. Enjoy your time!
Paper towels are an ample emergency filter for coffee-making when folded just right…. just thought you should know!

Is there “Tom the Driver” Fanclub?
Boolean ;-)

Hey I thought you gave up coffee?

Nice, comprehensive website there Tom.

Nice site Tom… Let me know when the site supports rss then ill blogroll it.

That site actually runs on Debian linux. We “sublease” from the LUG. I think we were Gnomed. I thought it was a porblem w/ the off site topica stuff, but it seems to be happier now. (might have also been the Macslash RSS feed.

You know what they say about the plumber and the carpenter? It's the same with the web app developer :)
I'm sooo dang busy, with current clients, I haven't dared to try to get more unless an email and phone number attracts them :D
