Boo-yah! I'm going to keep

Boo-yah! I'm going to keep nagging Jason until he applies this weekend's test code site-wide. No legacy tags, beyotch! Oh, and… “This Page Is Valid XHTML 1.0 Transitional!” I'm not sure if I wanna play with a fixed-width or stick with the variable. Doesn't look great on anything less than 1024×768, but those folks are in the minority. Hey, I got it to look fantastic in all the major browsers on all the major platforms - that's gotta count for something. Props to glish for the guidance. So, what did I use for my editor? Notepad, baby. Metapad, actually (the best clone around). Thanks to everyone else for the virtual ass-kicking; you accelerated the inevitable.

All this site redesign…..kinda like rearranging the deck-chairs on the Titanic, ain't it ?

How about polishing a ****?

For the record: I run my resolution at 1400×1050 but often my browser window is just bigger then 800×600. I just checked my current size in Firefox and the window is 850×900.

I checked out Metapad to see if it could beat my favorite windows text-editor, Editpad Light.

Metapad seems pretty nice, but Editpad is ultra fast and allows me to open multiple files at once using tabs. I can't live without that anymore.

Sadly.. “This Page is Not Valid XHTML 1.0 Transitional!”… or was that your point?

Although it's not free, I've been using Edit+ (http://www.editplus.com) for years and for me it's the best text editor for windows out there. I love the fact that there's color coding of tags and that you can specify colors per syntax type. One set of colors for php, another for HTML, etc.
Great app if you don't mind the small price tag.

Nothing to do with anything you wrote here… but thanks for the photo of the new mugs. Sorry the other ones went to cup heaven. I guess they didn't survive the jozjozjoz! Glad you got what you wanted, though!

1024×768 may be the most popular screen resolution, but most people don't maximize their browser window anymore. I keep my window at about 800×600, because that's what most of the web is designed for. I absolutely hate sites that expect me to scroll in all directions to read content. (and usually end up going somewhere else.)

Rock on, Chris! Looks great — can't wait to see it become official LG. Don't listen to all the nay-sayers — some people will criticize anything. Your legions of fans love you. :)

damn straight! cant wait man. if you dont stop rockin too much i'd have to kick my own ***. keep it up brotha.
