Had a friend at work just pick up a Fisher Price record player off of ebay — it sure brought back memories!

That's awesome! It will give me something to do when I'm bored. :)

Oh, the fun! Obscene words are wonderful toys.

Hey Chris-
It was neat to see your parents and Gretchen on Call for Help. You look lots like your mom.
Happy Anniversary to you and Gretchen. Hope you have many more.

Guess what. You can do better than that. There actually IS a Speak and Spell Simulator available for windows at http://sass.retrogames.com/

It's actually just a simple perl script that parses out the words, and fetches the WAV files from the Merriam-Webster site and concatenates them into a big file for playing. You'd be amazed at some of the phrases people play on the thing. I was thinking about compiling a list. :)

hey chris just found this page and thought of you. it is for a speak and spell online simulator.so here it is:http://www.speaknspell.co.uk/ Hope you like it.
