What exactly are the USB ports used for? It’s not like they’re connected to anything other than a power source are they? So the most you can use them for is to charge something via USB, correct?

What, were you on a Business/First Class Airline lounge or what? Besides, what airline did you take?
(My guess: American)

Airports are finally understanding how important our computers are in there waiting rooms.. Distracted geeks=Happy geeks, Geeks sitting in a waiting room with no net connection, or a dead laptop=Whining Geeks who are the counter every two minutes going. “Wheres my flight? Its a hour late!”

If I’m ever at that airport I could charge my phone without digging out the charger or my laptop, just use my USB cable. Noice. Now USB 4.0 needs to be able to power a laptop, we know 3.0 isn’t capable of it, but maybe 4.0 could.

This would have been so useful on my way home from Virginia when my Zune started to die.
