Food always tastes better when someone else prepares it for you – which is what Gretchen and I keep telling ourselves. We're moving to a neighborhood that has plenty of unique restaurants less than a block away. The boxes arrived this morning. We're less than a month away from the last day living in this loft. I don't know who's going to do most of the packing, but since I've got a couple other immediate projects in the works, the responsibility will probably fall on my wife's very capable shoulders. I have no problem paying someone else to do it, either. Ugh. I dread having to get everything set up again. Thankfully, I believe I've found a new ISP that can provide ample DSL service. You'll be hearing about them more in the coming weeks, I'm sure. I've got the need for speed, and this computer doesn't settle for second best. If I don't feed it the recommended daily allowance of bandwidth, it gets pretty damn crabby.

When we moved a few months ago, we paid the moving company to come and pack up all our stuff. Worth every penny. They're amazing! They packed up our whole house in one day. We sat and watched them zoom around the house, wrapping, boxing… I swear it was almost an artform! Highly recommend it. (They won't, however, unpack it for you… which is really a bummer) ;-)

Interestingly, the company we've hired will unpack for you, too! (Which I think is kind of weird… how would they know where it goes?)
At this point we're packing it all ourselves, but we'll see what happens the week of… we'll see just how much stuff hasn't gone in boxes yet. ;)
