Ashley Cheng of Bethesda on Oblivion

Oblivion is currently one of the hottest titles in the Xbox 360 line up; not to mention its popularity as a PC title. While offering horse armor for sale in the Xbox Live Marketplace caused a small uproar online, overall, Bethesda Softworks (makers of Oblivion) are paving the way for the future of endlessly extendable console gaming. Part of their genius is frequent offerings of downloadable upgrades to the game via the Xbox Live Marketplace. At E3 2006, Chris talked with Ashley Cheng, Senior Producer for Bethesda, about Oblivion’s success. In the interview Ashley talks about the future of game upgrades and reveals a few tidbits about some of the upcoming downloadable quests for Oblivion fans.
