Are You Ready for the Holidays?
Can you believe that Thanksgiving is just around the corner, and Christmas is but a few weeks away? I was aghast yesterday when I walked into a store that was playing Christmas carols… until I realized what the date was. Holy crap where did the year go? I haven’t even started to think about holiday shopping yet, never mind actually DOING any shopping.
After I had my little panic attack, I sat down to check out what was going on around out community. Low and behold… people are talking about the upcoming festivities. They’re figuring out what to cook with their turkeys, and what the hottest new gifts are for this year. Geez I’m way behind, aren’t I?
I was happy as hell to see that the holidays aren’t the only thing that people are chattering about. Thankfully, I found many interesting and informative blogs and threads on a huge variety of topics to keep me busy… and to get my mind back OFF of the holiday season. I’m just not ready quite yet!

Hey chris I thought the same the other day. Let me tell you, it’s kind of ridiculous. I love the holiday season a tremendous amount. I’ve got Christmas wallpaper on my iPhone, mac, and even a holiday screensaver on my mac. But I feel like every year the stores start their “holiday madness” a little bit earlier each year. Is it a money making thing by starting early? I don’t know, but either way it’s always a fun time in the year. Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Holidays Chris.
We don’t have thanks giving here :(
But we do have summer, and so we tend to not stuff oursleves quite as much with a Turkey.
Hoping to spend some if it at the beach.
Do you have your News Year Resolutions planned yet?

Holidays? Already? Man oh man I’m not in the Christmas spirit yet. I can’t believe that you haven’t started playing your Christmas music 24/7 yet, because last year I think you started immediately after Halloween.
I’m getting this strange feeling though that this Christmas shopping season isn’t going to be like the one last year. There just hasn’t been that hype that there usually is. For example, last year I’d see tons of Christmas shopping commercials after Halloween, but this year I’ve only seen a few. Maybe it’s the economy that’s effecting this?
Maybe I just need to let myself get into the Christmas spirit a little more. I mean, I myself haven’t been listening to anything Christmasy so far. I need something to stimulate my Christmas spirit…….
Hope you’ll enjoy this Thanksgiving weekend Chris, and you to Kat!

The holidays are here and we are all asking where the time have passed. This year seemed to fly by without anyone noticing.
Bradley! I do believe that the state of the economy will affect the holiday shopping season. If you look at a lot of commercials running it’s all about buying something for the family to share and have fun with, not the individual “add this for Billy”. It’s hard to get into the Christmas spirit when so many of our fellow people are out of work and not sure how to make ends meet.
