hi there i use a external usb ssd for xbox 360 i can finish all 10 levels in 60 minutes flat or 6 minutes per level i am tring for 10 minute halo game 1 minute per level or 60 seconds

HI THERE YOU DONT UNDERSTAND ANY THING ABOUT SSD ITS ALL ABOUT THE READ WRITE SPEEDS NOT THE CONECTION TYPE EVEN THOUGH THEY SAY THE CONECTION IS AT 3 GB/S WHILL THE APPLES SAMSUNG 7400 RPM IS ONLY 105 MB/S READ WRITE SPEED THE 256 GB SSD FROM SAMSUNG IS AT 210 MB/S READ WRITE SPEEDS YOU NEED CHEEK THE READ WRITE SPEEDS NOT THE CONECTION THOUGH PUT

Did you know apple use Samsung SSDs in they MacBook Pro? So I got one and I concur, it is faster than my Mac Pro right now and the second use 4 Seagate HDDs 7200.11 in raid 5.

i dont understand how the SSD can be really that much faster, the drive u mentioned says it sports 3.0 Gbps speeds, yet if u look at the traditional Serial ATA drives , they all maintain at least 3.0 Gbps….. so how can you say that SSD is really that much faster ?

maybe im overlooking something obvious, but it seems to me that SSD provides no real proformance improvements other than the efficiency of no moving parts
