If what Man is saying is true then that is cool. I’ve been waiting for years and unfortunately I’m being forced to by a vista based tablet due to the immediate need for one in our office.

Our tablets have saved us hundreds of hours per project and hundreds of thousands of dollars over the years. Before, we had to fly back and forth from projects to get reviews from our engineers, after the tablet & being able to tether to cell phone internet connections, we can get answers in minutes instead of days. A huge benefit.

Students should take a look at ‘onenote’ on current tablets. I used it in school and it’s amazing – being able to hand write notes, record the lectures and have the lecture audio automatically match the position/time when I wrote my notes is absolutely invaluable.

I know all the mac fans are excited about the possibility of a macbook tablet, but really, it’s long over due. Apple has a lot of catching up to do – even Dell is about a multi-touch tablet.
