I am not sure if this post went through the last time so I am reposting it.

Use of DRM removal tools such as Soundtaxi (www.soundtaxi.info) violates the license agreement. Use of these tools is illegal so DON'T DO IT. Remember that you may have purchased the song but you don't own it.

I went into detail about this at (my website) www.mymp3s.co.uk a couple of days ago.

I've used iTunes with my iPod for ages and really love having such good access to my music, but hate the software.

But recently I discovered Napster and have kind of been converted by it.

The sound quality isn't brilliant but you can listen to just about every album you ever wished you had bought, but save yourself the experience of sticking it on the CD shelf and regretting that you threw your money away because you never listened to it again.

Odd. My first comment on this page didn't show until I posted the 2nd one, even though I saw my first one just fine the other day.

I call bug. No more posting comments after 4 AM for me.

Where did my Gela Skins comment to this entry go?

I'm just a user who tried to recommend something they liked. It wasn't spam.

I use the Zune. It may not look as pretty as the iPod but the plastic material it is made from is awesome. It never gets scratched (although you still have to worry about the screen) and it really feels nice.

I'm not crazy about the Zune software. Not sure why MS decided to use a separate Zune software instead of integrating a Zune plugin for Windows Media Player.

The Zune interface is pretty good too. It still could be better and hopefully will with a few firmware updates. Although the Zune has been out for some time now and the quickness in the firmware updates has been poor.

you can transfer your music files and your library.xml file from the iTunes folder on one computer to the iTunes folder on another computer as long as the music files are kept in the same folder structure. (such as, computer A: itunes/music/ then on computer B you need to also use itunes/music/ granted that library.xml file has to be transfered back and forth every time you make changes to the files inside itunes though.

Try some Applesauce polish and an Invisible Shield (both from www.shieldzone.com ) I use both, gets the scratches out and then the invisible shield keeps more from appearing while not interfering with use of the iPod. I also use the Invisible shield on my Macbook Pro, my camera and my cell phone and will continue to use it on all my portable electronics.

Chris: Against scratching, I recommend Gela Skins: <a href="http://coupons.lockergnome.com/rss/swap/60192" rel="nofollow">http://www.gelaskins.com</a>

They have a bunch of great designs to chose from and if they ever scratch (mine don't), you can just change it out. It doesn't leave any residue, so you can change them out whenever you feel like it.

I've bought 4 of their iPod skins over the past year+. I even have a MacBook skin from them.
