Apple Handing Out Free Bumpers with a Little Help From Their Friends
The anticipated app to help you snag a free case or Bumper is ready for download. It’s pretty simple to use: sign in with your iTunes account information and choose the case you want. That’s right… you can choose. You don’t have to grab the Bumper if you don’t want to. Apple is also offering up select cases from Belkin, Griffin, Incase or Spek through the end of September.

The official email from Apple stated that “For iPhone 4 purchases made before July 23, 2010, you must apply no later thanAugust 22, 2010; otherwise, you must apply within 30 days of your iPhone 4 purchase. To qualify for this program, you must purchase your iPhone 4 bySeptember 30, 2010.” If you have already purchased a Bumper on your own, you can receive a full refund from the company. And, of course, “If you are not completely satisfied with your iPhone 4, you can return your undamaged iPhone 4 to any Apple Retail Store or the Apple Online Store within 30 days of purchase for a full refund. If you purchased your iPhone 4 from AT&T, you can also return it to an AT&T Store.”
