They say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. This guy isn't half as ugly as I am. Thanks to Cheyenne for tipping me off. I suppose it's just a matter of time before you take the ball and run with it, too. And what have I said about running in the house?

Well, when it comes to blog layouts, there is only so much that you can do… (But I like “your look” being just yours & Gretchen's.)

I'm running with scissors now. Don't even try to stop me. Oh no. I'm out of control…

Kevin,
I think Chris' look is a great jumping off point, but yea, you should try and go for a different look, even if it's slight. It'll be good practice to change div colors and classes.
It's good that it doesn't bug Chris. I see you're a fan of pretty much everything he does, so I'm sure you didn't do anything with bad intentions. The other side to this is that Chris' design is (for the most part) graphics-free. I'm sure he might have been a bit miffed if it was stolen images, but hey– it's the web. Everyone borrows this and that from everyone else!
After all, it was Chris's lockergnome emails that got me motivated to start blogging two years ago, so maybe he's right. Maybe imitation is flattery!

Ive been reading Kevins blog for a while, and always thought Chris shared the design with him. At least Chris isnt all hung up about it. Love your blogs, Chris and Kevin..they may look alike, but content isnt:)
