All Purpose Pizza
There aren't too many restaurants in our Seattle neighborhood; we've got a good Italian place up the hill from us, but we're not always in the mood for pasta. For a few weeks now, we've been driving past a new apartment complex that has a pizza joint on the lower level. “We've gotta try that,” I've been saying for the past few weeks. It appears to be open now: All Purpose Pizza (although it's not yet showing up in Google, we found the site by searching for the name and pulling up their job posts on Craigslist). To our knowledge, Pizza Hut is the only other pizza place that will deliver to us at a moment's notice. Takeout just isn't as much fun, ya know? Though there were no pizza prices listed on their Flash-based Web site, we ordered from them anyway - trying “Ked's Fave” and “Kitchen Sink.” Ponzi also requested the Trio of Sauces, so we'll see how it all works together in just a little while. I'd just as soon support a local pizza restaurant than an international chain. Can't wait to dine in-house, too (as opposed to dining in our own house) - they've got pizza *AND* ale. You say tomato…

Oh, I know your pain there, Chris. However, Capitol Hill has a number of pizza places to its credit. We have a new one at the end of Broadway (bellapizzapasta.com, even though its website still only has the Bothell branch on it. ) and a New York style place, Pizza Passion. No website though, but good 'za.

One of the best kept secrets in town is how the big Seattle Pizza joints (Pagliacci & Romio's) red line south Seattle. Both companies carpet bomb Seattle & the Eastside with restaurants. However neither has a location that delivers to Leshi, Mt. Baker or Seward Park. What kind of **** is that?
All Purpose Pizza is a welcome addition to the neighborhood. Big props to them for filling the void in an underserved area. You should also check out Mad Pizza ( http://www.madpizza.com ). They have been delivering to the South End for several years.
