One thing that bothers me, though, is the many comments about 'white hairs, geriatrics, etc., etc.'. Come on people, I bet I have more fun more often than most younger people, and it isn't all that much different than what you would consider 'fun'. Sheesh! Cut me a break, will ya? I also am very knowlegeable about all things pertaining to computers. We have 6 computers in our house, and we use them all, employing all types of OS's. I'm from "down-under", and it's always been my dream to see Alaska.One thing I recommend is that you now get your hands on a copy of James A. Michener's great book, "Alaska". It's a blend of fact & fiction covering the entire history of Alaska from prehistoric to modern day times. Full of adventure, wildlife stories & human adversity (plus great descriptions of the beauty of the place), it is what instilled in me the desire to go there sometime in my lifetime.
