Hi Chris,

I had a copy of Photoshop Elements 5 (I think) on my previous Gateway XP laptop. When that machine crashed, I removed the hard drive, installed it in an external USB HDD on my new Vista machine, then copied it into my Vista Program (86x) files. When Photoshop Elements tries to start, it freezes and puts up a message that says "Personalization information incorrect or missing." I really enjoyed using Elements, and I understand it will run under Vista. I have imported other files and programs using the external HDD, and they run fine.

What's wrong here?
