A Female Programmer's Perspective

Tonight's guest will be Nancy Folsom, an independent software developer whose company is Pixel Dust Industries. She has been developing business information applications for both private and government customers since 1989. She is also the author of the book Debugging Visual FoxPro Applications, and she has written articles for Visual Studio Magazine, CoDe Magazine, FoxTalk, and the Virtual Fox User Group Newsletter. Her experience includes the domains of accounting, cost estimating, facilities management, project management, point-of-sale, time and billing, among others, for both private and public sector customers including the U.S. Department of Energy, U.S. Department of Defense, NEC, and the Alliance for Transportation Research Institute. Nancy was a FoxPro Microsoft Most Valuable Professional from 1998 – 2002.
So, in short, she's one sharp cookie! We thought it'd be great to bring her on and have our resident tech newbie, Ponzi, ask a handful of questions. I can promise you this: the time we spend discussing FoxPro will be at a minimum.
