But, perhaps the best tip I had which applies to absolutely all techniques is to resize by only 10% at a time, whatever method you use. So, if you want to grow an image to make it fit a web template better, and it&#039;s half the size you need, grow it by 10%, then 10% again, then again, until it&#039;s the size you need, that way you retain much of the detail and compression artefacts (common in jpeg etc) don&#039;t get out of control too quickly.
