Yes, the Tomtom One GPS car navigator! Some g33k gave me advice that led to me buying one. :-)

Don’t waste your time with the SD800IS, they rushed this camera to market. Either wait for the next line of cameras with the new Digic III chip or go with the A710IS, it’s the best camera the make.

nice list. but most of them are kinda expensive..

[...] One of the items in my personal gift guide is a homebrew arcade machine. I have a feeling that it’s going to be my “midlife crisis” acquisition (though I’m hoping midlife won’t hit me for another thirty years). I didn’t really grow up inside arcades, but arcades certainly grew up with and around me. I still remember walking into Happy Joe’s pizza parlour and begging Dad to let us play a few rounds of Donkey Kong. [...]

Nice list.

I’ve been blogging my “geek christmas gift suggestions”, but I haven’t come close to high end tech gear like this.

Hey Chris,

Do yourself a favor and put a 1080 plasma or LCD set at #1. Or better yet, upgrade to a 60″ Sony SXRD XBR. Yeah, it’s not as chic as a flat screen, but it provides better picture for less money.

The Sharp Aquos LCD screens seem to be decent though if you really want flat…and they do a 1080 screen.

Now is totally not the time to be buying a 720 screen.

The optimus keyboard is a concept item and not available for sale.

They have some plasma disks that I’d like, Especially the large ones that are square 16 x 16.

What Do You Think?
