While I generally try to maintain a positive attitude, I concede that there are plenty of things in the world to get upset about. The high price of parking in urban areas. Sean Bean’s mortality rate. High fructose corn syrup. Corn. Etc.
What I can’t wrap my head around, however, is indignity toward getting something for free. Like talk of Candy Crush being included with Windows 10. Why are people so mad about it? Is it because they hate the game, or is it because they lack the self control to stay away from it as a distraction?
Whatever. I just think there are plenty of valid triggers of dissent in society, but this ain’t one of ’em. What d’you figure?
