Do You Have Any Fears as a Parent?

Peter Friess asked:

What is the biggest fear that you have for baby Pirillo?

I fear the unknown.

There are so many variables are at play, and so many things could go “wrong.”

I fear that my child will not find happiness, or that others will woefully attempt take it from him/her.

Diana and I will both do everything in our power to make sure our child is happy, healthy and well-adjusted. S/He will be loved beyond belief, and will be secure in that every day of his/her life.

At the end of the day, we will have to hope that’s enough… just like all of you do.

What about everyone else? What is your biggest fear as a parent?

  1. Now that my kids are teenagers (1 in college; 1 starting college in the Fall; and one entering her final year in high school), my biggest concern as a parent now (besides the cost of college tuition), is if I have done enough to prepare them for life on their own. I want them to be successful, of course, but also good citizens and decent people. Hopefully, I have instilled the right values and morals in them so that they will be able to make wise life decisions. Ultimately, at this point, it is nearly out of my hands.
