Is TiVo Premiere the Best Holiday Gift?

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of TiVo. All opinions are 100% mine.

There are so many options available when it comes to finding a perfect holiday gift. How the heck do you know for sure people will actually enjoy what you end up buying for them? I’ve found something that you can grab for pretty much anyone on your list – and it’s something they will enjoy all year long! Buying a  TiVo Premiere has never been easier or more affordable than it is right now.

Thanks to a special holiday offer, the TiVo Premiere box is only about a hundred bucks when you sign up for a one-year service plan of $19.99 per month. If you think TiVo is only a DVR, then you have much to learn. Not only does it record your favorite shows, it offers you many other services. Access movies and TV through the world’s largest on-demand video store. TiVo has partnered with  Netflix, Amazon Video On Demand, BLOCKBUSTER On Demand, and more.

The device itself is simple to use and looks fabulous. You won’t have to worry about whether it will fit in with someone’s room decor – it’s made to work well with all color schemes and decorating styles. Your gift recipient won’t need to switch inputs and remotes or clutter up their house with multiple devices, either!

At this price, I’m thinking you’ll probably want to treat yourself, as well.

The best news of all is that you now have a chance to win a TiVo Premiere and one year of free service right here! Simply leave a comment on this blog post between now and December 23rd, and you’re automatically entered to win. Please see the official  sweepstakes rules  to make sure you meet all requirements.

  1. sounds cool to me – got to love TiVo. I don’t really do gift exchanges on the holidays, except maybe a card. Just not a big religious type guy I guess.

  2. I’m new to HDTV programming as we just got our first – a Samsung UN46C8000 3D TV. I immediately requested HD programming from our cable provider. The monthly cost of their DVR paired with the clunky interface (compaired to Windows 7 Media Center, which we used as a DVR previously) has us without an HD DVR at the moment. I’m looking at options for the future and have been comparing the costs of building a Windows 7 entertainment PC, getting a Tivo Premier, and The Moxi HD DVR. The Tivo is entriguing but I’m scared to take the plunge because of the monthly fee. I already have many on-demand options with the [email protected] apps on the new TV. I’m also somewhat worried about losing Stars OnDemand through my cable box. Winning this contest would be a guilt-free way to take the Tivo plunge.

  3. Have always been a fan of TiVo – even imported one into Canada when I lived there (before they were selling them locally) – but haven’t yet pulled the trigger on a Premiere. Please pick me Chris!

  4. I just wish that you could transfer your old TiVo information to a new TiVo. This is the only thing holding me back.

  5. Tivo is awesome. I’ve had my Tivo box for several years. It would definitely be great to have another one!

  6. I am a huuuuuge TiVo fan and I love the TiVo premiere. If I won it, I would regift it so someone else could share in the fun of this wonderful product.

  7. I’ve settled on my FIOS DVR after using a ReplayTV for years. But they never made the leap to HD. Would love to have a more powerful DVR again that has HD capability.

  8. Help! Please free me from this monstrosity that is the DirecTV DVR! Never has one device caused me so much heartache and frustration. This thing has to be a woman! I will go back to my cable company in a heartbeat if I win this TIVO!

  9. At the time that I got my first DVR, I didn’t think TiVo was keeping up technically and was no a good value; so, I have the DirectTV box. BUT, with Premier I’ve become a believer and would love to have one.
