So it depends on what you’re doing on your netbook/laptop. For PC games like S.T.A.L.K.E.R., Command and Conquer 3 and Starcraft II I’m going to use my Core i7 gaming rig at home so I don’t need to play games on a laptop. For programming I use the same desktop PC and I started to read about develop applications for iPhones and iPads so I bought Mac Mini for this purpose. So why I bought iPad? For browsing Internet at any place in my house, working with emails, reading news, electronic books, articles, documentation in PDF or other formats, using notes, watching YouTube, podcasts, listening to music, chatting using AIM or Y!Messenger, using online banking, remote control, and tons of applications like Ambiance, Amazon, BestBuy, Buyers Guide, CoolFacts, Dictionary, Discovery, eBay, Facebook, FedEx Mobile, NASA, Newegg, Pandora, Panoramio, Paypal, Pizza Hut, Skype (no webcam, sorry), Sudoku, UPS, USPS Mobile, WordPress dashboard, YellowPages, and of cause playing games designed for iPad. I didn’t do that much with my laptop at home, I barely used it. yep, there is still no Flash Player support but I don’t care much about it since many web sites used javascript instead that works fine for me. And honestly, the touch screen experience is the best on Apple products compared to others. So you decide if iPad is going to be a killer for your outdated hardware or not…

This is were the iPad comes into its own. it has the same quick and easy functions as and iPhone though on a bigger easy to share with the family screen.
