Are You Using LED Christmas Lights this Holiday Season?

I’ve had this particular light string on for the past three days. Each of the bulbs is still cool to the touch. It’s also highly energy efficient! If you’re going to string lights inside or outside your house, this is what you need to use. The reason why is that these are LED Christmas lights. The cost isn’t as bad as you might think, either. You can find just about any color/shape/size of LED holiday lights over at Holiday LEDs.

You’ll save money and get more for your money using LED lights. You’ll be saving energy, as well! If you haven’t upgraded your Christmas lights yet… do it! Donate the old lights to someone else, or even retire them. Get yourself some LED lights today!

  1. I really like the idea of LED decorations. We bought tree lights three years ago thinking that we would never have to buy new lights again . . . LEDs rarely burn out. Unfortunately, the not so in-expensive lights started having problems last year and it looks like we will be buying new ones this year. I have no idea of how to verify quality of these products, but will be looking into it further before my next purchase.

  2. I love Christmas! I live in Canada and I do up my house pretty good. I can only hope to impress Clark Griswald 🙂

But to be honest, I don’t like the look of the LED lights especially outside. They don’t offer the same ‘look’ if you will. I do admit that they are much more environmentally friendly but I think I am going to hold out. Good review !

  3. The LED’s available this year seem to offer more variety in terms of the outer, decorative bulb shape and texture. The earliest iterations almost seemed seizure-inducing and the whites were more of a harsh blue-white tone. Like the compact fluorescent bulbs, they seem to be evolving. There are some really nice ones available this year, so I took the plunge and replaced the old-fashioned lights with the LED’s.
