Great deals on the ARCHOS 5 & ARCHOS 7:
It’s not easy watching television when you’re on the go. You can’t exactly take the TV with you, nor a DVR. There are many solutions for this conundrum, of course. One of the most impressive ones is the ARCHOS 5. ARCHOS introduces a new concept: the Internet Media Tablet.
The ARCHOS 5 is the flagship of the new range, bringing the customer a new way to enjoy Internet, Media and TV…in a handheld device.

How cool are all of my new toys? When the people at miJam asked me if I wanted to review a few of their newest toys, I jumped at the chance. I may be 35, but I still love toys! Seriously, who wouldn’t love things like this?

Yes, there are times you may want to read content on various pages at a later time. You may not want to bookmark them. You could be in an airplane with no Internet service, or on a train commuting to work. So, you’d want to read them as offline content. What do you do when you find yourself needing to view your online content without an Internet connection? There are two different services that just may be what you need.

I played many different arcade games back in the day. I still do enjoy racing types of games. XXOwnsXY sent a video to me, to demonstrate Trackmania. The game is available as a free download, and she has sent in her top five tips for playing it.

I got this MySpace message a few weeks ago from Jonathan:
I just saw your YouTube video from last year talking about BATG. It’s funny because I was on the 5th season of the show. Don’t know why you’d turn down the show just because you’re married. You know it’s not a dating show, right? On my season one of the guys and at least two of the girls were in relationships when they went on the show. It’s weird that casting contacted you about being on the show since you were already somewhat famous. Some of the beauties have had some fame before doing the show but none of the geeks did.

Halloween is tomorrow, and I know many of you are gearing up for it. People all over both Lockergnome and Geeks have been talking non-stop lately about all the things that are involved with this very fun (and for some of you… sacred) day.
Recently, there was a discussion raised on Geeks as to whether gun control will help prevent crimes like homicide. Anytime this subject is brought up, tempers tend to flare and passions run high. You will find very few people who don’t care about the issue one way or the other. They are either vehemently for or against gun control.

I received an email from Kevin recently, telling me about a very cool new piece of software he’s found. He writes: “I have found a program to show you and the community. It is called Camspace by CamTrax Technologies. Camspace is a freeware program that lets you play your video games by using any object. All you need is a Windows PC (Mac and Linux systems coming soon), a webcam , lots of light, a wide variety of solidly-colored objects to use as controllers, and a desire to play any game you want with Camspace. There are games for Camspace and there are controllers for games popular computer games. It is right now in open beta. If there is not a virtual controller available for download, you can make your own.”

Is Windows Explorer just not doing it for you? Maybe the Finder isn’t doing it for you, either. Or, what if the file manager in Linux isn’t your thing? Either you put up with all of these, or you download muCommander.

I did my best to run through the tutorial of Echochrome. It’s a game that came with my new PSP 3000. The music is actually really cool. If you’ve ever wondered what it would be like to live inside of an M.C. Escher drawing, Echochrome will show you.
