I’ve been playing on RedHotPawn.com for years now. I love it! I’m still not that good, but it’s fun.
I had heard about postcard chess. It really intrigued me. But growing up in the Internet generation the gratification just wasn’t instant enough. ;)
With RedHotPawn you sign on whenever you get a chance and make your move. And your opponents do the same. I believe you can have up to 15 games going at once for free. Or you can subscribe and join “clans” and play against other clans.
It’s fun.

i personally do not like to play online because it takes the fun out of it for me. i love to look into the other persons eyes and try to figure out what they are trying to do. it gives me a sense of competitiveness and thats what got me into playing chess. was the social aspect of it. you just don’t get that in a online site for chess.
