Even with the advent of Vista, many people are still installing (and even re-installing) Windows XP. Normally, it’s a relatively easy and painless process. But, as with anything, something could always go wrong. Brandon sent in this top five list for installing XP for anyone who may find themselves needing to do so.
Have you heard about The Mojave Experiment? You know, the experiment where Microsoft ‘tricked’ people into checking out Windows Vista, but they didn’t call it Vista. They renamed it, to attempt to get “unbiased opinions”. Now, I’m not even going to get into the results of this little test. I want to focus on the experiment itself. Was it wrong of Microsoft to ‘trick’ people, or was it a brilliant move by the Marketing department? What do you think others have to say about this?
Recently, we talked about leaving a tip when dining out. Many people believe that a standard percentage of the bill should be left on the table for the server… no matter what. Still many others believe that the amount of the tip depends on the level of service received. I put this question to my friends to see where their opinions lie.

In front of me is the first digital picture frame I ever owned. It cost $350.00, and didn’t even have Internet connectivity. The reason why I liked this particular frame back when I bought it was that it looked good, and worked well. So why am I bringing this up? Over the past few days, I came under a light attack. I was frozen out of my iTunes account after someone gained access to it. You all know I’m not an Apple basher. I love my iPhone. When anything works well, I will say so. When something doesn’t work, I will say that as well. I don’t care what company it is. So tonight, it’s Apple’s turn.

Gummi Bears are just plain good. Most kinds of “gummi” candies are yummy. A few years ago, I put a Vader helmet onto a Gummi Bear and took a picture of it. You may not care about Gummi’s, but I bet you would if you knew they could keep you awake. If you aren’t into drinking those sugary drinks that will end up making you crash hard, and just don’t like the taste of other energy drinks… why not check out the new Loud Truck Gummis

You may not agree with it, but it is pronounced “Jiff”, according to the person who created it. What do you do if you want to create an animated GIF from a series of photos? And what if you want to pull those photos from somewhere like Flickr? You can do this easily by using Gickr. The feature to grab photos from your Flickr account isn’t quite up and running yet, but will be very soon. You can, however, upload pictures from your computer, and turn them into animated GIFs with ease.

I don’t know why, but I’ve always been in love with software. I’m an addict, I admit it. I currently have 568 separate items sitting inside my Apps folder in OS X. When I find something I like, I hold onto it. I never know when I might need it again. Whether you’re addicted to software or not, I bet you love to save money on your programs. When I was approached about promoting Mac Bundle Box, I jumped at the chance.

As time goes on, hardware does evolve. It’s likely if you buy a computer these days, you may not be able to connect some of your older devices. I was recently in that position, and found myself looking for an uber adapter. I came across an unbranded SATA or IDE USB 2.0 Cable Converter Adapter on Amazon. I was worried at first, I admit it.
