You know me, I’m a casual gamer. When I unwrapped the Spore Creature Creator the other day, I was stoked. Even if you don’t plan to buy the Spore game when it is released, the Creature Creator stands on its own. At only $10.00, what have you got to lose? You can easily upload your Creature to YouTube like I did as soon as you finish creating it if you choose to.
With Spore, anyone can be creative - make whatever you can imagine with easy built-in Creator tools. Then create and guide your unique personal creature on an epic journey of discovery.
Some of the features of Creature Creator are:
- BUILD using 228 drag-and-drop, flexible parts - is it fashion, function, or fashunction?
- PAINT with unique patterns, make your creature stand out in a crowd.
- PLAY with your creature as it comes to life with dances, poses, and emotions.
- SHARE using built-in snapshot and video tools - make your creature a star!
All in all, this game is truly addicting. You are only as limited as your creativity is. Check it out, play around, and show off your Creatures to the rest of us!

To be honest this is just not for me, doesn’t seem fun at all, maybe the actual game will be, but oh well.

The Creature Creator looks like a very fun preview for the game. And the nice part is that if you don’t want the full demo or just don’t want to spent the money it is nice they provide a not-so-full demo.

Bought the Creature Creator. Gotta say, it’s pretty sweet. i love how there are so many options to customize. Everyone should give it a shot. If you enjoy the demo, buy the game since it’s only $10.

I don’t think I will try the spore creature creator. I think my younger brother would love it though.
I’m for sure buying the full version when it comes out, I’m sure it will be very entertaining!

I can see the potential for this game. While the creature creator is nice, I’m looking forward to the actual game more. Although I am afraid the game needs a bit more power than my computer provides. For now, I’ll stick to my World of Warcraft.

At first I was rather uncertain how I felt with Sore Creator. Just seemed pointless, especially to be getting something that is not even the actual game. But when I tried out the free-trial, I began to love it. Hard to believe something so trivial can be entertaining. The way it can interact, the way it has a unique movement and taunt. I am not certain about the game itself, but as far as the creator goes, it is great.
