What Kind of Web Cam do you Have?

Every week, we give away a web cam, courtesy of ustream. With the advent of our nice new script, things usually go pretty smoothly when we randomly choose our winner.
The requirements to be eligible for our weekly giveaways are simple. Here is what you need to do:
- You must be present in the chat room at the time of the giveaway. We don’t announce it much ahead of time, so you pretty much need to be a regular visitor!
- You need to be subscribed to my YouTube channel.
- You had to have left a recent comment on any post in my blog.
That’s it! That’s the sum total of the requirements to be eligible. When a giveaway starts, all chatters in the channel lose chat ability. This is to help us be able to see only the winner talking, so we don’t miss out on their pertinent links. Then, our new automatic bot picker will choose a random name. That person has to give us their YouTube link, as well as the name they used to comment on the blog. We then verify the information… and have a winner!

I use my mini-DV cam as a webcam. But webcams take way much space :)

For stills I use a Nikon D70. The webcam is now a Panasonic PV-GS320 and for HD, it’s the Canon HG10. Now I need a machine to edit the AVCHD video.

i use the isight in my imac a USB Logitec basic webcam and for non webcam stuff i use a Kodak easyshare HD camera

I have a Logitech PS2 EyeToy. It’s horrible though as far as quality goes. Works nice for basic overall uses.
Really gotta get a new one sometime thoughso I can do streaming that isn’t terrible.

I need to invest in a new cam, all I have is a old POS cam made by creative.

Yea they are epic hackers but if you just feed off there drivers they made it doesn’t technically make you a hacker.

I found Drivers that work with the EyeToy so I use that.. It saved me alot of money.

Believe it or not, i enjoy my iSight camera built in to my MacBook. its so easy to use. I just pop open iChat, select a few friends, and Boom! (in the words of Mr. Jobs himself…) i am instantly chatting or conferencing with friends. The iSight works well with all of my apps that need Cameras. My favorite app for my webcam is CamTwist, btw…
