I recently started using it, I added you Chris and a couple of other people I know and boom I was addicted. It is very interesting to read what people are up to and now I almost feel obligated to let people know what I am doing every hour. I hope everyone gets a chance to check it out because it is indeed a great service with such a simple concept.

Someone needs to post a reality video of what its really like to use the pirillo streaming site along with IRC. It’s pure lag. The video buffers every 30 seconds when the recording is not being done and every 2 seconds when it is. He also spends 99% of his time chatting to his friends on team speak and completely ignoring the chat room.

Well, he DOES have his own life, remember? But of course the IRC room it’s pure lag. I felt that too.

I have had a twitter account for a while and I just used it as a way to post information on my website as an RSS feed.

After reading your post, it woke me up to what its all about and how great it is. Even though I don’t have many followers, Im finding myself updating it all the time and im addicted!

If you have a mac, download twitterific for the desktop. http://twitter.com/downloads
There are also other apps there but I have not tried them.

Twitter can be interesting but there is also so much spam on there.

Twitter can be fun but i can never see my self doing this. NOTE you must have a lot of time on your hands to use twitter.

Twitter is probably one of the best web apps out there right now if you don’t really want to blog but just want to update people on what you’re doing.

I just hate the people that add on 1,000+ people somehow at once (I assume there is some random follower bot.) just to get them to look at their Twitter profile.

I have twitter and I use a client called twhirl. Which keeps me logged in all the time. I love twitter. I use it posting blogs and almost anything.
