1-800-Flowers Coupons

I use 1-800-Flowers to send flowers to my Mom every Mother’s Day. Last year I got her a mixed rose bouquet for $60, which was a big hit. One caveat: avoid their designer bouquets (the ones that cost over $100). Unlike the cheaper bouquets they’re shipped from the 1-800-Flowers warehouse rather than a local florist and I’ve had some really bad experiences with them. Can you say $200 worth of dead flowers!

Why should you buy flowers?
Sending roses to a woman in your life offers psychological benefits for both you and her: a sense of well-being, increased creativity, and a connection to nature.

Could she use a psychological boost? Arranging for flowers to be delivered to your loved one is one of the more popular ways to say “I love you”, “You’re special” or even just “I’m thinking about you”– and it can boost her emotional and mental health. It can be even more powerful if you arrange the flower delivery to her work, volunteer job, or other public place – she may enjoy the attention!

Research shows that flowers offer a sense of well-being, increased creativity, and a connection to nature. They can immediately impact your level of happiness and life satisfaction. Maybe this is why the term “flower power” is popular…it’s a cliché because there’s truth behind it.

I hate to break it to you, but those tulip and rose coupon links are for flowers shipped out of the 1-800-Flowers warehouse, too. If you want something arranged and hand delivered by a local florist, then you’ll need to select an item from 1800Flowers.com marked as “Available Same Day.” Everything else is shipped in a box via FedEx or UPS.

Or you could just save the $13.99 service charge (above the cost of the flowers and local delivery) and call a local florist direct.
