Video Voicemail - Help?

It definitely seems like this is taking off from what I’ve seen on YouTube. For some reason the eyejot widget won’t record on my iMac. It plays your video just fine, but on the reply part, after I gave Flash full permissions it only shows a gray screen when recording, and the green led next to the isight never lights up.

For the Eyejot thing - be sure to select the webcam tab in the Flash control panel and pick the right camera. On most new Macs it will be the USB Camera. You’ll find the little tabs on the toward the bottom. Here’s a sample of what you can expect to see:

Well, even though Chris allows anonymous messages, you can also registered a free account at Eyejot. When you do, we’ll run a quick audio and video wizard that will help set this all up for you quickly and easily. Chris noted that we should have this in the widget too, and we agree - and will work to quickly deploy that version.

Great idea Chris, Will EyeJot give us the viewr some sort of way of displaying their question and your answer either along side it or in the same video one after another?

Hi Paul,

After you click ‘allow’ for that dialog box, if you still don’t see yourself, then right-click (ctrl-click on the mac) and choose ’settings’ from the contextual menu.

You’ll then see the tabs and be able to follow david’s directions!

This sounds like a Great project, if I can got it to work!! I clicked the Reply & the Log In button, but I can’t enter the info. What gives? Hopefully, it’s just my stupidity.
