Confirmed Gnomedex Discussion Leader:

This year, there will be no speakers at Gnomedex. There will be no panels, either. We realize this is a radical departure from the norm, but there's a method to our madness. We've begun to invite a select group of people to be discussion leaders – individuals who will stand on stage, present an idea or two, answer questions, and then generally lead the audience's discussion and participation. Tomorrow, I'll unveil one of our confirmed discussion leaders. I will continue to reveal them, one by one, over the course of the next few weeks. You must understand this, however: at Gnomedex, the audience always holds the stage. I'm not the first person to figure this out, though (thank you, Dave and Steve).

Thank goodness they finally fixed the background downloading issue – just in time for E3 (where I'll be next week recording interviews for one of our sponsors, GoDaddy – with the coupon code “chris1″ for a discount). There's a better Xbox Message Center available through the consoles now – more functionality for gold subscribers, of course. Who wants to key in messages through a controller, anyway!? Major Nelson has more improvements, too – including a link to screen shots of the new Xbox Live experience on the Xbox 360. I've been playing Burnout Revenge every day while I've been working out on the Gazelle. Two birds with one stone, man!
