Clint Higley on Playmotion

What geek doesn’t dream of something like Star Trek’s Holodeck or the downloadable training programs available to citizens in the movie version of Total Recall? IE7 UI is Probably Going to Suck

Here's the problem with Daniel Glazman's IE7b2 UI report: he's spot-on. Major “ouches” to Microsoft. I didn't want to agree with him, given that he hasn't quite developed a killer experience in NVU – but he's really right, and it's really sad:

Indirectly, that is. With more people uploading their Pirillo snapshots onto the Web, I've become a lot more self-conscious about my appearance. I Download Videos

Sometimes you just wanna save an unsaveable video to your hard drive. Perhaps you thought it was funny, poignant, or… just needed to fill up space. Problem is: few of the more popular video download services make it simple for you to grab the media files (no matter the format). I just found out about KeepVid – which enables you to download videos from Google, YouTube, iFilm, Putfile, Metacafe, DailyMotion, and others. Now, if only terabyte hard drives were more readily available! Which reminds me, I've really gotta order that new computer. Tomorrow, I plan on downloading the Internets. If I don't have enough space, I'll have to convince everybody to stop uploading videos for me to download. I'll encourage them to make funny comics like If 24 Was Real or The Search for Spock.
