The World's Tastiest Salad Dressing

I keep asking Ponzi to post her recipe for an amazing salad dressing she discovered, but it's always at the most inopportune time. She said she found it on some fireman's Web site – but made small improvements to the original measurements. It takes olive oil, some kind of fancy mustard, spices, and whatnot – but I couldn't tell you how much of what! I've always been a creamy kind of salad dressing kind of guy; I very much dislike vinagrette. This dressing has supplanted Ranch as my all-time favorite. Ponzi must be begged by one and all for this amazing salad flavor combo. Please join me in requesting it repeatedly until she posts something on her site. Thankyouverymuch. The world deserves the taste she's found.

An Offer They Can't Refuse

It just occured to me, while I was waking up in my hotel room at 6:57am CST, that I should make an open offer to any Seattle-area tech company / entrepreneur. This would not be for one free chest rental, but it would be for coverage on The Chris Pirillo Show. Everybody's doing something interesting, right? Or at least they deserve to be interviewed. Sure, we always keep our eyes peeled for local folks doing good – but I'm hereby making a concerted effort to surface Seattlites, Redmonders, Tahomics, and Bellvueans in need of more “word spreading.” This effort is not to be confused with Word Spreading – which is slightly less tasty than Excel Spreading.

David Sifry on Technorati and Entreprenuership

Ponzi interviewed David Sifry, founder of Technorati, over lunch in Vancouver, B.C. to get a better sense of what Technorati and tagging are all about. Starting with how Technorati came about as a solution for keeping track of who’s saying what in the blogosphere and emerging as one of the thought leaders in the blog and tag search space Ponzi gets the lowdown on where Technorati came from and where it is now. What makes this interview different from other David Sifry interviews is the background on being an entrepreneur and what it’s like to start a tech company. If you’ve been making excuses about starting a company or taking that first entrepreneurial leap, this conversation between David and Ponzi should meet all your objections and leave you ready to launch your effort to change the world. If you’re already an entrepreneur, this is one of those conversations that should renew your enthusiasm for what you’re doing.
