Internet Explorer Script Error – Line 1344

For the past couple of months, I've been plagued by an error in Outlook. Actually, two errors (which were apparently related somehow): (1) I could not print any HTML email without an Internet Explorer Script dialog error popping up, stating that there was an Undefined error in Line 1344; (2) I could not detach any attachments by dragging and dropping them into a folder or onto the desktop. Both problems were mildly annoying, but I didn't think much about fixing them until today. Turns out, others have had the same issue – and a quick search resulted in a quick fix. Everything works again. I love the Internet.

Second Place in the Super Bowl

I'm proud of my city today. We made it all the way to the Super Bowl this year (for the first time ever) – and while we didn't walk away the victor, we took it in stride. I don't know if the media did this on purpose, but most coverage showed humble Seattlites with a good attitude. We're hopeful for next year, I guess – but second place isn't all that bad. I've never identified myself with a sports team, but the reaction to last night's defeat may have made me a small fan. The “attitude” in the Pacific Northwest is one of the reasons I was drawn to the region. I'd still like to go on record by stating that the refs were paid under the table for the bogus calls they were making (largely against the Seahawks, or in support of the Steelers). Even today's ESPN poll asks: “Do you think officiating mistakes affected the outcome of Super Bowl XL?” Right now, the only two states that disagree with that are Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Kinda telling, eh? Even though the Seattle Seahawks got screwed by the black & white, I've yet to see any local evidence of sore losing. I'm almost glad we lost – gives us something to shoot for next year.

Our House is Leaking – Again

The video quality isn't fantastic, but you should be able to make out where the water is streaming from of the ceiling. If you can't see it coming down, you can certainly see it falling into the bucket – and if you can't hear it, you might wanna get your speakers fixed.

Yahoo! is Super Bowl Stupid

Okay, I'm really dumb when it comes to football – but not as dumb as Yahoo!, apparently. If you don't believe me, look at this Super Bowl screen shot – which is at the top of Yahoo.com right now. They claim it's Seattle 3, Denver 0. Read that sentence again and tell me what's wrong with this picture. Of course, if this helps Seattle's odds, then I hope Yahoo! doesn't change a thing. I don't think Steelers fans would be too happy about that, though.

Seahawks Win the Super Bowl!

Seahawks win! Seahawks win! I can't believe it! They said this wasn't possible! Seahawks win! Three to nothing! That is such an amazing score! I can't believe what I'm seeing here on Super Bowl Sunday. This is unbelievable! 3 – 0, Seahawks! We beat the Steelers! Yes, yes, yes! Go Seahawks, go! I can't believe I sat through an entire football game for once in my life!
…what do you mean it's only the end of the first quarter? What?
