- Sat: Depart from terminal at 4:00pm
- Sun: At sea all day
- Mon: Juneau from 11:00am to 9:00pm

Anything we “must” do (besides dogsledding, which is happening earlier in the week). I just asked Pluggd if they wanted to do a few Skypecasts - so, keep your ears on for a couple of audio updates!

Enjoy your trip. I have an Uncle that lived in Alaska for seven years. It is really pretty up there.

Great idea on the Skypecasts, just drop me a line when you’re free to do one :)

When you hit Sitka, you will have to ‘tender’ in. The port is too shallow for the ship, but DEFINATELY do your own visit to the Raptor Center. They nurse Eagles and other birds of prey back to health. It’s a really nice 25 minute walk from the shore, along the coast and through the park. Costs about $11 per person to get in, but well worth the trip. Most of the things that the shore excursion desk offers you can do on your own for about 1/2 the price and a cab ride. Don’t be afraid to explore.
Also, when in Glacier Bay, listen for a ‘crack’ and turn your head in that direction. The ‘crack’ comes about 5 seconds before the glacier ‘calves’.
Have a great time!

went on the same exact cruise with Holland America. When you do the lifeboat drill, look to your right and left and count how many grey heads there are. Or if you don’t want to count that high - count how many non-grey heads there are. Lovely cruise otherwise.

to send, then get online. This will save you a lot of time and expense. If you can, rely on your existing phone for your connectivity. Some devices do work as a modem, and will work very well.
