World’s Best WordPress Plugin

I’ve been pimping my WordPress - hardcore. From spilling a little SpotMilk over my admin interface, to getting an admin toolbar for when I’m looking at my own blog. I’ve been looking high and low for fun and functional extensions for WP, but I think I’ve found the mother of all plugins tonight. It’s called Edit N Place - and if you have WordPress installed, you must install this plugin immediately. Its name is exactly what it does - enables you to edit your post’s title, categories, and/or body inline! No need to load up the admin page to tweak a word or two anymore! Yes, it’s accessible with a little sprinkle of AJAXy goodness. I sent Matt an instant message the moment I had it running. He didn’t even know about it, so it’s a fair bet most of you WordPressers don’t, either. It’s so simple to configure to your liking, even a caveman could do it.

[...] I’ve been so busy with other stuff lately that I haven’t been checking some of my feeds and other blogs I usually visit. When I went to see what Chris Pirillo was up to I noticed he has switched to WordPress. I’ve only messed around with Blogger and Typepad but have a pretty good feeling WordPress is the way to go these days. Per his suggestion, I’m going to try installing the “World’s Best WordPress” plugin and see what all the fuss is about. It will be very interesting to watch how he continues to pimp his blog. Sean’s plugins are great. He’s just updated edit n place to allow tags if you use UTW or Jerome’s keywords.

Hey Chris… Thanks for the link to Easy Admin Access… I’m glad you like it :)

I tried Edit N Place, but it kept throwing Javascript errors at me… It would be really useful, but I couldn’t get it to work. Maybe I’ll try again. Thanks for reminding me about it :)

Ignore that, I’ve just seen that this post is from ages ago!

I remember thinking that you’d commented on it, so I checked and it turns out we spoke about it at great length on my blog! I need some sleep!
