Feedback on Feedback

The Windows Feedback Panel launched:

Microsoft has created the Windows Feedback Panel Program to allow our customers to get more actively involved in helping to create the world's best software. By participating in the program, you can help us focus our work on the features that you use most often, tell us where to simplify our software when it is too difficult and introduce new capabilities that increase your productivity. Basically, being a part of the Windows Feedback Panel helps us help you.

Windows Feedback Panel? My first bit of feedback: don't require a download. Second bit of feedback: try listening to the conversation in the blogosphere, too.

How about trying to make it work with Windows Vista / Outlook 2007? desktop search Related Content:Desktop SearchDesktop Search ToolsGooglefasting: Day 10Fast FAX FactsThe Associated Press is on AcidFeedback on FeedbackMSN Desktop SearchNew MSN Search Beta URLsMSN Toolbar HacksLookout for Outlook - Look out! Excellently said.

For lack of more eloquent wording, I’d simply like to say this:

VISTA SUCKS!!!

I’m getting used to the feel of it, that’s not the problem. The problem is that it seems nobody (personal / school) who I need to communicate with via the Internet has it, so most things I send are not recieved.

It caused problems with school projects (I’m a 38-year-old psychology major) and is now a problem with applying for my financial aid. The government (of course) doesn’t have Vista, so I can’t fill out my application Online, which is a time-consuming problem!

I’m VERY frustrated and annoyed with Best Buy & Microsoft, and I’m ready to go back to Best Buy and tell them to remove Vista and reinstall an older version. However, I’m affraid that if I do this, I’ll loose all my files. Where can I turn? What can I do?

An unhappy customer,
Samantha M. Lyons

If you want to make DVDs from VHS tapes with Vista, don’t bother to try. Believe me it does not work, it will spend a long time rendering them and then refuse to burn a disk. It comes up with “disk not empty”,”disk not recordable”, no disk in drive” etc.etc. You name it it complains about it..
My adice is stick with to XP which in my experience with Cyberlink, Roxio and Nero products works fine.
