Social Networking Blues

I'm on Ryze. I'm on LinkedIn. I never touched Friendster. For some reason, Orkut appealed to me. Perhaps its the “in affiliation with Google” tagline? It's getting to the point where we need a Trillian for these types of sites. FriendFan is coming. Microsoft already has Wallop. When will it ever end? How many friends does one really need? Infinity (plus one). Won't you be my neighbor?

For this reason alone I have decided not to make any new friends. I have reached my maximum friend limit. Every once in a while I purposely have an argument with 1 friend just to make room for 1 new friend. This keeps things fresh. It seems to be working well thus far.

Stay away from Friendster, unless you like having to beat people off with a stick who seem to think that you are in a personal's ad. I joined during the aftermath of Six-Degrees-of-Separation, when my whole crew moved and have, of late, gotten a lot of date offers. Are the other services like this too?

Trillian is a great program. Never heard of it until you talked about it. Good suggestion

I agree, trillian is a great app. Hey, whatever happened to that interview you had at TechTV's Unscrewed? I'm still wondering if you will post a link to the clip since I missed the show and I dont care to upgrade back to digital cable anytime soon.

Thanks, Chris, for approving my “Friend request” (like you'd reject anybody, you Friend-*****)
Here's something you have to be an orkut member to get: A logo for the network your new TV project will be on:
