My comment should've been “It Worked, Woo! ;)” which was sarcastic. Ah well.

The scary thing would have been if it had worked, or better yet, got this on a retail box of WinXP and had to call MS to explain that it was truely yours. :)

And in other news, 555-5555 is *not* a real number and, at least in the 604 area code, 666-6666 is a non-working local of the Government of Canada.

So, I wonder how many people have actually tried this product code since it's been posted here? LOL

I would've tried it had I known how or where to use it. :)

If you are doing an install of XP (or any other prior Windows product for that matter) on a fresh hard drive, during installation it asks you for a product code to verify it's validity. Of course, if your OS came pre-installed you will never have a need for or see this number…

I am always surprised to hear people say bad things about Microsoft. (Vulcan) I think they've made a great contribution to our economy and lifestyles. Without them we woud be missing out on a lot. I think XP is great, I've had no problems with it.

I saw this website on Google and just for pure curiosity decided to check it out. Guess I’m a little behind and I was thinking there was good logic behind the idea but I’m too nieve and I know this, so I’m not trying the code. Thanks Anyways.

I don’t know if you’re lying regarding XP Home, but this product key DOES NOT– I repeat: DOES NOT work with Microsoft Windows XP Professional!
“The Product Key you have entered is invalid.”
