Super Tweakers

Mark from AnalogX was in town the other day. He let me download
some of his new MP3s
- which you should grab, too (before they're removed from the site
in a week or so). I have it on good authority that he'll be
finishing up a few new tools in time for Gnomedex. And while we're
on the subject of must-have freeware,
X-Setup
v6.2
(Final) was released today. If you're still using 6.1 (or
earlier), consider upgrading ASAP. “Windows, hardware, Internet,
Office - X-Setup allows you to change more than 800 (!) oft-hidden features in a few clicks. It uses plug-ins and can download
updated or new plug-ins directly from the program. Best of all,
you can always view the source for any plug-in!” From their
History log: added “Favorites” function to Default UI; links
inside the plug-in description, wizard description, and comments
are now clickable; fixed the “Menu jumping around at startup” bug;
start-up check is now much faster, since there no hidden windows
generated. And yes, X-Setup is still (by far) the official
tweaking tool of Lockergnome. I love this thing.
