The Best Attack

Oh, wow. Attack of the Clones was, in a word, AWESOME. I was extremely impressed with Episode II - from beginning to end. The trite dialogue everyone keeps complaining about? Sorry, but I was so wrapped up in the “feel” of being in the Star Wars universe again, I wasn't bothered by it. Even Threepio's puns had me laughing aloud! AOTC brought me back to the fold. Kudos, Lucas. Gretchen and I caught a matinee presentation at the Metreon, courtesy of the wild Fandango. After the film, we wandered into a new comic book store. Sweet! Man, I wish I could get into that scene again - but it's so expensive! I'd love to get the comics, but I just can't justify the prices. Anybody got any old comics they don't want anymore? I don't want to collect them or anything, I just want to read them. GI Joe, Transformers, Star Wars, etc. I saw some Jack Skellington figures there, too. I didn't feel like dropping the dough, though.

I was watching Extended Play(when I wasnt Watching Call For Help) and they had one Star Wars Figure for $50,000 ; I wish I had this in my posession, I need the money LOL…

Didn't I say it was awesome!
It rocked my socks.

I've seen comics online, but that's not exactly legal. The new Trasnformers and GI Joe books ROCK. I used to be a only DC book kinda guy, but with my limited budget I'm getting Transformers and maybe one other book.

oh, i should have mentioned, most comic shops have “bargin bin” areas where you can (or at least used to be able to) get comics for a quarter or so. I got attached to a lot of cool series that way.

I liked AOTC sooo much that I have seen it 3 times already. I live in a small town and so i have the chance to see it whenever i want :)
That movie summed up in two words: KICK ***
oh and i wish i could get into comics again… but I dont like the idea on how they arent really “handmade” drawings like they used to be. and since they arent handmade they are cheeper to produce thus they arent worth as much as the price insists they are. oh well laters

I agree AOTC was Awesome, love the tongue in cheek humor. I've only seen it 2 times but I will probably see it once more before it hit dvd.
“ohh I am quite beside myself”

I even told you that the movie was AWESOME!! I so can't wait until it comes out so that I can watch it over and over again.

love the movie! i remember watching the original in the theatre when i was a kid. loved it then and i love it even more now!!! btw gotta love master yoda in action best part of the movie in my opinion!!!

That whole review and you didn't mention Natalie Portman even once. I'm disappointed in you…

prose.
a dash of sense, coupled with obi-wan.
a great actor to save 'clones', but mcgregor.
applause, i supply to him.
(english translation: ewan mcgregor was the best actor, but no surprise)

re-reading that comment i just made, i am reminded why i am a computer engineer major.
*sigh*
i apologize.

I just saw ATOC on Saturday night, and I thought it was great…..my boyfriend hated it, but he's not a Star Wars person, so oh well, doesn't change my opinion about it. It was defintly better than Episode I.
Cheers.

For comic books like G.I. Joe, Transformers and such there may be some trade paperback releases now or soon. Those are usually the best ways to pick up old comic book stories. Other than that, hit the bargain bins to see what you can find. If there are other titles you're looking for, let me know. =)

Star Wars has not been good since empire strikes back. Special effects do not make a movie great you need a good story also.

Attack of the Clones was first rated a 4.0 on Yahoo! Movies. But because of haters, that probably didn't even see it, it is down to 3.9 - it probably deserves better than 4.0 by now. So please go and vote at Yahoo! Movies: http://movies.yahoo.com/shop?d=hv&cf=info&id=1800421139&intl=us

AOTC is much better than TPM (less jarjar, more natalie portman)…my only issue with it was hayden christensen (anakin) whining like a BIG BABY throughtout the whole damn thing..geeze, I didnt know the future dark lord of the sith was such a crybaby….
I like the whole geonosys connection and the first battle of the clone wars…all in all, 4 out of 5 stars for clones…

I just came back from seeing ATOC and it really was what the saga needed. Sure you can say all you want about the rolling around in fields and such, but it's detremental to the development between Anakin and Padmie. There's defiently alot of tounge in check comments made throughout this movie, most notibly when Obi-won tells Anakin that he'll be the death of him. I defiently was happy to see Yoda in a grander role than the other movies (meaning he appeared more, had more lines). He lived up to why he is the Leader of the Jedi Councel. I just can't wait for the 3rd Episode.
On a side note, the preview for the next Matrix movies looked good :)

Chris, go to Marvel's site http://www.marvel.com you can read their… what is it.
Their Ultimate series, where they start over spidey and xmen etc online in a nifty flash format. The ads get annoying at times, but the flash work is first rate.

It was very cool.
Throughily enjoyable.
