Thanks, Desmond

So, Gretchen and I are driving home from Peet's and we hear Desmond Crisis (or someone who sounds an awful lot like Desmond) on CNET radio say: “Because I own the software.” Almost immediately, the theme from Rocky sprang to mind and I started making up lyrics on the spot. I got home and had the complete parody whipped out in less than two hours. And it shows. Take a listen to I 0wn the Software. Maybe I'll record a better version one of these days?

I am definately adding that to soozradio. F-U-N. Though you tricked me at first … I thought it was an instrumental!

Hey GnomeDaddy,
You got a good set of pipes….You ever consider becoming a lounge singer in vegas or reno? I heard caesars was looking for someone to fill their room weeknights…:)

The link isn't working for me.

Wow, I haven't heard the name “Desmond Crisis” in, like, forever. Ever since the regular CNet TV disappeared from the lineup. Reminds me of Daphne Brogdon, too– grrrowl.
… and Richard Hart, too– grrwoo– whoa, uh, never mind.

Was Desmond the cyberpunk guy? or the Indian dude? What ever happened to the punk guy?
What ever happened to PCTV? I think that was the first PC show, I remember watching an Amiga running some animations, that was a cool show.
What ever happened to the “Wiz Kids”?

Hey Chris:
THAT WAS GREAT! It's on my local radio station, WKEG, now. Once I get it all set up for SHOUTcast, you can listen to it at http://radio.evankinney.com or http://www.evankinney.com:8000.
peace out
